To be misunderstood is a misrepresentation of… oh what the fuck, who gives a shit!

It didn’t take long to stumble across a garage with walls covered from top to bottom in gobb-smacking awesome and evoking artworks. These are not framed/hanging/oils paintings.

Four artists – Beastman, Numskull, Phibs & Yok, have collaborated on a group show at Ambush Gallery, in Waterloo, showcasing some of their friken awesome works. This exhibition manages to capture their unique styles, characters and innovative techniques. It’s interesting to capture how these artists flourish their awesome talents, and beng able to continue the forefront into the “underground art scene”. I took that quote from somewhere, so no copyright issues ok.

I didn’t manage to catch the opening, but today I cruised down there with a mate, (marky mark markson) and we checked out their works.

Featured in this exhihibition were murals, sculptures, stencils, woodworks, installations artworks and prints. They are surely some of the best art I have seen this year, and that is saying something. I have been to loads of exhibitions this year, and this would have to be one of my favourites.

Check it out guys, whenever you can – thursday 10 december 2009 6pm and continuing until 20 december at Ambush Gallery, 4A James Street, Waterloo (Sydney)
